Prior to Emory:

Competed on the Mercersburg Academy track and field team for two-and-a-half years, earning five letters and serving as the team captain... Was her team's Most Valuable Player... Recorded career-best times of 12.63 seconds in the 100-meter dash, 26.64 seconds in the 200-meter dash, 58.15 seconds in the 400-meter dash, and 2:24 in the 800-meter run... Coached by Nikki Walker, Skip Sydnor and Emory Mort... Also played soccer and ran cross country.
